At a press conference following the leaders’ summit in Paris, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s position is clear and that Europe should be at the table in negotiations on ending the war, APA reported, citing UNIAN.
“We are not considering alternatives, this is our clear position. Europe is very big and it must have a clear representation at the negotiating table. Today we decided together that Europe will be represented by France and Britain. Macron and Starmer. I think this is important and we want to send this signal to our other partners, especially to the United States. Each summit will show more clearly the steps we will take,” he said. Zelensky added that at the talks in Paris, each country’s leaders had their own point of view, but they were all united around the idea of providing Ukraine with support and security guarantees.
