The two sides also plan to develop partnership in urban development, infrastructure and AI.
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the UAE leadership in Dubai on 15 January. During the talks with Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, they discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
The sides highly appreciated the results of the talks, which have brought the relations to the level of strategic partnership.
They noted successes in improving the efficiency of state governance and training of managerial personnel.
The leaders agreed to implement new projects in the sphere of high technologies and digitalisation. There are plans to develop co-operation in the field of artificial intelligence and apply Dubai’s experience in developing the infrastructure of New Tashkent.
