Uzbekistan and Russia discussed bilateral cooperation

At the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, representatives of Uzbekistan held talks with the leaders of Russian regions on cooperation in the fields of industry and education, Trend reports.

According to the information, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev met with President of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov to create a pool of joint projects within the framework of international cooperation, one of which is the construction of a technopark in the Tashkent region.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov discussed with the Governor of Tomsk Region Vladimir Mazur plans to develop and sign roadmaps with large Uzbek enterprises for scientific and technological cooperation, as well as issues of expanding interaction with Andijan and Kashkadarya regions.

Asadov also met with the Governor of Arkhangelsk Region Alexander Tsybulsky and discussed the results of the visits of the Pomorie delegation to Uzbekistan and promising areas for further cooperation.

Currently, cooperation agreements with Navoi and Tashkent regions are being worked out.
