According to Trend, Avazbek Sultanov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Rating of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Bolor Erden, Head of the Department of Policy and Planning of the Ministry of Road Development and Transport of Mongolia.
According to the information received, issues related to the development of international road freight transport between the two countries were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the parties considered the possibility of signing an intergovernmental agreement on this type of transport.
The Mongolian side expressed readiness to develop transport corridors to increase the volume of freight traffic between the two countries in accordance with the proposals of the Uzbek side.
On the basis of the discussed issues, the parties identified specific tasks for further cooperation in the field of road freight transport.
