Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are planning to establish a joint venture in the railway sector.
According to Trend, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed their support for this joint venture.
The joint venture is expected to be managed by the railway administrations of the two countries.
The leaders of both countries expressed satisfaction with the possibility of utilising Kazakhstan’s freight terminals on the border with China and in Uzbekistan on mutually beneficial terms. This opens up new perspectives.
