The Central Bank of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Asian Development Bank delegation headed by senior financial sector expert Andrew McCartney, Trend reported.
The meeting discussed issues of information gathering on the inclusive financial sector development programme and consultations on the consideration of the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion 2021-2023.
During the meeting, ADB representatives focused on developing an action plan for the successful implementation of the programme, including the selection of partner banks, financing of microfinance institutions and technical assistance to entrepreneurship development companies.
As part of the mission to develop a new National Financial Inclusion Strategy, meetings and roundtables are planned with the participation of government agencies, banks, financial institutions and other stakeholders.
