President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee Huang Kunming in Shenzhen during his state visit to China. The event took place within the framework of the joint Investment Forum, which was attended by more than 600 representatives of the Chinese business community, as well as heads of departments and regions of both countries. This was announced by the press service of the Presidential Administration.
President Mirziyoyev noted that partnership relations between Uzbekistan and China are developing dynamically, primarily thanks to mutually beneficial cooperation in the economic sphere.
Expressing satisfaction with the results of the meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Mirziyoyev noted that the two sides agreed to create support and favorable conditions for doing business in mutual interests.
In particular, a joint statement of the two leaders will be adopted. According to Mirziyoyev, this document elevates Uzbek-Chinese relations to the level of “all-weather” all-round strategic partnership.
