UAE Finance Minister Mohamed bin Hadi Al Husseini held an online meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov, Trend reports.
According to the information, during the conversation the sides discussed prospects of strengthening cooperation in the financial sphere and explored areas of mutual interest.
Al Husseini praised the strong bilateral relations between the UAE and Uzbekistan, and noted Uzbekistan’s significant achievements within the framework of its development strategy.
The officials emphasised the importance of expanding the financial partnership, especially after the successful visit of an Uzbek government delegation to the UAE Ministry of Finance last November. The visit took place within the framework of the ‘Financial Leadership Programme’ aimed at sharing experience and knowledge in the fields of finance, banking and investment.
Al Husseini expressed interest in further strengthening financial ties with Uzbekistan, emphasising that such cooperation would contribute to the growth and prosperity of both countries.
