Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad on 23 July. The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral partnership relations. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
Rashid Meredov and Asif Ali Zardari discussed opportunities for further development of interaction in the political and diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The Pakistani leader expressed his respect and gratitude to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the national leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for their personal contribution to the development of friendly and fraternal relations between the countries.
