Turkmenistan and China will expand the scale of mutual investments within the framework of stimulating key areas of further partnership.
As Trend reports on Thursday with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, it became known after the third meeting of the Turkmen-Chinese working group on investment cooperation in Ashgabat.
According to the information, the meeting reviewed key areas of cooperation, including the outcome of the agreements reached between Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the summit ‘Central Asia-China’ in May 2023.
In addition, the sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue deepening interaction, focusing on traditional areas such as energy and infrastructure, as well as developing new areas, including green energy and new minerals.The World Bank is the leading, but not the only investor and organiser of financing of the Kambar-Ata HPP-1 construction project.
