Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan met with UAE Ambassador Ahmed Al Hameli in Ashgabat. The meeting was reported by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
The main topic of the meeting was the preparation of the Turkmen-UAE Business Forum, which will be held at the CCIU on 25 June.
The Turkmen side stressed the importance of developing relations with the countries of the Middle East, in particular with the UAE, the leading economy of the Arab world. Successful cooperation was noted in key sectors, including energy, investment, transport and communications.
Participants discussed the prospects for deepening bilateral relations through regular business contacts and business meetings between the two countries. The forthcoming forum is expected to open new horizons for cooperation between Turkmen and UAE companies in various economic fields.
Both sides expressed optimism about the results of the future event, considering it as a platform for expanding mutually beneficial partnership.
