During the One Water Summit in Riyadh, a meeting took place between Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The President warmly recalled the recent state visit to France and expressed gratitude to Emmanuel Macron for the exceptional hospitality extended to the delegation of Kazakhstan.
The head of state emphasized the importance of the agreements reached in Paris regarding the elevation of Kazakh-French relations to the level of strengthened strategic partnership.
“I am deeply satisfied with the outcome of the negotiations and the agreements signed. This visit was a significant step towards long-term economic growth and strengthening ties between our countries. It is gratifying that already after a few weeks we see concrete results of the implementation of key agreements in various areas,” said Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.
The French President noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts in such areas as the fight against climate change and the development of a “green” economy.
The two sides discussed prospects for intensifying cooperation in the fields of energy efficiency, clean technologies, water management, innovation, data exchange and artificial intelligence.
