Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev in Astana.
As Trend reports on Friday with reference to Akorda, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasised the importance of full implementation of the agreements reached earlier at the highest level, which are of strategic nature and are designed to significantly strengthen interstate ties between the two countries.
In turn, Jeenbek Kulubaev informed about the results of the talks between the heads of foreign ministries of the two countries and the main directions of further joint work to deepen bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, priority attention was given to building up trade and economic interaction, developing transport and logistics infrastructure, stimulating mutual investments and cultural and humanitarian ties.
The sides also exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agenda.
