British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that he is not considering sending NATO troops to Ukraine.

The British prime minister made the remarks in an interview with the newspaper La Repubblica, the report said.

According to him, the decision taken at the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Italy to use the proceeds from frozen Russian assets for Ukraine’s needs was an indication that “the G7 is ready for anything”.

“We must increase our investment in defence because the world has become more dangerous and unpredictable than at any time in recent decades,” he said.

As for the use of Western weapons against targets on Russian territory, the British prime minister was evasive. According to him, missiles should be used “in accordance with international humanitarian law”.
