Today, 20 December, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov spoke at the third People’s Kurultai, touching upon the most important aspects of domestic and foreign policy of the country. This is reported by the press service of the head of state.
In his address, he emphasised the progress that Kyrgyzstan has achieved thanks to the efforts of the state. One of the key projects is the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the long-awaited start of which is expected on 27 December. This project, previously perceived as a myth, is already becoming a reality and promises to strengthen the country’s economy by improving trade links and infrastructure.
‘This road will become a strategic bridge between East and West, opening new opportunities for trade, tourism and industry,’ Sadyr Zhaparov emphasised.
In addition, the opening of the new Bedel border crossing country on the border with China will significantly strengthen Kyrgyzstan’s transit potential, which will open up new business opportunities.
