Moscow and Beijing have held consultations on missile defense matters and the missile aspects of strategic stability, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement following a meeting held in the Chinese capital.
On December 11, Beijing hosted Russian-Chinese consultations on missile defense matters and the missile aspects of strategic stability. The parties thoroughly discussed related topics concerning the maintenance of global and regional security. They particularly exchanged views on issues related to intermediate-and shorter-range missiles.
The Russian Foreign Ministry added that the consultations “reaffirmed the parties’ determination to enhance dialogue and coordination on the above-mentioned factors of strategic stability.”
