Russian and US delegations will discuss the work of the diplomatic missions of the two countries in Istanbul on April 10. This was stated by Tammy Bruce, head of the State Department Press Service, at a regular briefing, APA reported with reference to TASS. “On April 10, the US and Russian delegations will meet for the second time in Istanbul to try to make progress to further stabilize the work of our bilateral missions,” Bruce said. “There are no political or security issues on our agenda, and Ukraine is certainly not on the agenda,” Bruce said, adding, “These negotiations are not directed at the normalization of bilateral relations in general, but only at the work of our embassies. As we have already stated, this can only happen after peace is established between Russia and Ukraine.” He said. The Russian Foreign Ministry earlier told TASS that the Russian delegation to the second round of consultations between Russia and the United States in Istanbul will be headed by Russian Ambassador to Washington Alexander Darchiev, while the American delegation will be headed by Sonata Coulter, the US State Department’s Under Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs.
