President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Abu Dhabi on 13 January on an official visit at the invitation of President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammad Al Nahyan, Trend reports.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev was met by Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan and other officials at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
A guard of honour was lined up in honour of the distinguished guest and the national flags of the two countries were hoisted.
According to the programme of the visit, tomorrow, January 14, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in the international summit ‘Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week’.
Meetings with heads of leading organisations, companies and banks of the UAE are also envisaged.
High-level talks will be held on 15 January.
