President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the delegation of the State of Qatar headed by Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmad al-Kuwari, who arrived to attend the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Trend reports.
According to the information, during the meeting, the possibilities of further deepening of bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of trade and economy, were discussed. Special attention was paid to joint projects in key areas such as green energy, transport, health, tourism and infrastructure development.
They also discussed important upcoming events such as the Intergovernmental Commission meeting and the joint business forum to be organised in Doha at the end of the year. They also emphasised the important contribution to the development of cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two countries.
