Chairman of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Ismailov met with the delegation headed by Chairman of the National Audit Administration of the People’s Republic of China Hou Kai.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that cooperation between Uzbekistan and China has risen to a strategic level, relations in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres have reached a high level. It was noted that thanks to the political will of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, multilateral and mutually beneficial relations are developing in the spirit of traditional friendship and respect, and great achievements have been made in all areas of cooperation. Hou Kai thanked for the warm and friendly welcome and highly appreciated President Mirziyoyev’s pragmatic foreign policy, in particular, his efforts to develop relations with neighbors. He also noted that Uzbekistan’s high-level and successful holding of the 150th anniversary plenary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union was an important step not only for the country, but also for its activities in international cooperation. Hou Kai noted that there are certain similarities between the audit systems of the two countries, which opens up new opportunities for further deepening cooperation, exchanging ideas and experience, and jointly perfecting the audit system. He said that in the future, they intend to launch joint projects in this area and strengthen the system of mutual consultation and professional development.
