A meeting of the Working Group within the framework of the Uzbekistan-Turkey Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic Cooperation was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by experts from relevant ministries and agencies headed by the Head of Department of the Ministry of Trade of Turkey Hakkı Barutçu, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan and industry organizations. The participants discussed the tasks set out in the Action Plan of the 8th Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and discussed the issues of accelerating the implementation of investment and economic projects. They also identified concrete steps to prepare for the events to be held on May 14-15. The sides agreed to enhance cooperation, achieve the goals of the Action Plan and continue effective work for the benefit of both countries.
