Uzbekistan will create an online platform for monitoring and assessing the state of the tourism sector based on the Chinese experience.
The issue was discussed at a meeting of Chairman of the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev with President of the Chinese Academy of Tourism and Culture Lina Zhong in Beijing.
“The Uzbek side got acquainted with the Tourism Big Data Platform created by the academy, which provides more than 300 indicators and 140 indices for online monitoring and assessment of the state of China’s tourism industry,” the report said.
