The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan and discussed bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries. The meeting focused on the development of existing cooperation and the implementation of new projects in the political, economic, cultural and security spheres.
During the meeting, issues such as increasing the volume of trade and investment between the two countries, strengthening cross-border cooperation and contributing to regional integration processes were discussed. It was also agreed to take concrete steps to implement joint projects in sectors such as transportation, energy, agriculture and tourism. Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have taken important steps in recent years to develop their relations in all areas. The two countries emphasized the importance of cooperation for peace, stability and development in the Central Asian region and reaffirmed their determination to continue working in common interests. This meeting is considered an important step in further deepening friendly relations between the two countries and strengthening regional cooperation.
