At the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Yerevan, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov proposed that the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) start electronic exchange of data on labour migration. Aripov stressed that Uzbekistan is interested in the integration of electronic service delivery systems and mutual recognition of digital documents, Sputnik reported.

Aripov urged the forum participants to pay attention to the need to create an electronic system for the exchange of information on labour migration and socially vulnerable groups of people outside the country. He also suggested taking an initiative to expand cooperation on the electronic exchange of data on the movement of labelled goods.

Another important issue was the introduction of the system of electronic exchange of phytosanitary certificates, which is already functioning in Uzbekistan and allows interaction with more than 120 states. Aripov noted that Tashkent is ready to develop mutual integration and electronic exchange of such documents with interested parties.
