The North Atlantic Alliance will develop and implement an integrated system for Ukraine’s air and missile defence.
This was stated in a statement issued after the summit meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, the last session of the alliance’s summit in Washington.
“NATO will support and advise on the development of Ukraine’s integrated air and missile defence system architecture and facilitate its establishment in practice to ensure the most effective use in Ukraine of air and missile defence systems transferred by alliance member states,” the document said. NATO “will maintain full interoperability with the alliance’s air and missile defence system”.
