China and the Republic of Congo reaffirmed their commitment to advancing China-Africa cooperation and shared development.
During talks in Brazzaville, Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi highlighted the importance of the partnership. Sassou praised China’s 10 action plans from the Beijing FOCAC Summit, addressing key issues like infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and industrialization. As FOCAC co-chair, Congo pledged to ensure successful implementation of these initiatives.
Wang emphasized Africa’s strategic significance, reiterating China’s solidarity with the continent. He assured China’s readiness to support Congo’s development and its role in international cooperation.
