On September 30, 2022, the Mongolian Academy of Sciences Archeology Institute, headed by Prof. Dr. Enkhtur Altangerel, paid a visit to ANKASAM. ANKASAM’s President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Seyfettin Erol thanked the delegation for the discovery of the complex and the inscription of Ilteris Kutluk Qaghan, the father of the Gokturk State rulers Bilge Qaghan and Kul Tigin. He also stated that this discovery, which is recognized as the oldest written monument of the Gokturk period where the name ‘Turk’ was first mentioned, contributes to the cultural richness of Mongolia and is a turning point in the context of the history, culture and civilization of the Turkic world.
