The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Sergei Mikhov, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Moldova, Ulvi Bakhshaliev, where they discussed the most important aspects of bilateral cooperation.
The meeting touched upon the main areas of interaction between the two countries, including the organization of mutual visits and preparations for the next rounds of inter-ministerial political consultations. They also discussed holding a meeting of the Moldova-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission aimed at strengthening trade and economic ties. Particular attention was paid to current regional security issues of interest to both countries, as well as opportunities for enhancing cooperation within international organizations. The sides expressed interest in further deepening of interaction and support of joint initiatives in the international arena.
