A number of publications of the Arab Republic of Egypt, such as “Egypt Today”, “Al-Ahram”, “Parliament” and “Seventh Day”, have covered the visit of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of this country, Dr. Hanafi Jabali, to our country on the occasion of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
Dr. Hanafi Jabali noted that mutual relations are developing rapidly thanks to the desire of the leaders of the two countries to expand cooperation and their consistent, coordinated efforts to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples. He also expressed great satisfaction with the relations between the parliaments of Egypt and Uzbekistan. He also expressed interest in further strengthening the activities of the Parliamentary Friendship Association and exchanging experience in the field of legislation. For her part, Senate Speaker Tanzila Narbayeva stressed that Egypt is a reliable partner of Uzbekistan in the Middle East, adding that the historical, cultural and traditional ties between the peoples of the two countries are a solid basis for further strengthening cooperation. Emphasis is placed on deepening mutual cooperation, activating the work of the Friendship Groups in the parliaments, organizing joint events.
