Jozsef Rozsa, the new ambassador of Hungary to Turkmenistan, stated that he will actively work to strengthen relations between the two countries.
Rozsa received a letter of credence at a meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament Dunyagozel Gulmanova and conveyed the greetings of Hungarian President Tamás Szuyok, Trend reported, citing the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
Gulmanova congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him successful work to strengthen the friendship between the two countries. Rozsa was informed about the foreign policy course of Turkmenistan and noted that bilateral relations are developing both in bilateral format and within international structures.
The sides also discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the fields of trade and economy, health and agriculture, as well as activating inter-parliamentary and cultural ties.
