Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with the ambassadors of countries in the Eurasian region to discuss the growing tensions and risks of destabilization in the South Caucasus. During the meeting, security problems in the region and diplomatic solutions were discussed. Lavrov drew particular attention to the obstacles facing the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and warned that foreign interference could jeopardize regional peace. He emphasized that Russia will continue to support dialogue and cooperation in the Caucasus. The diplomats agreed on the need to strengthen joint mechanisms for conflict prevention and a lasting solution in the region.
