Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Absattar Syrgabaev, the Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, met with Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, on the sidelines of the 87th Meeting of the Internal Transport Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. During the meeting, the current relations between the two countries were evaluated, and steps that can be taken to further strengthen cooperation, especially in the fields of transportation, trade, and economy, were discussed.

Joint projects and investment opportunities between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan were also discussed during the meeting. The two countries are planning to take concrete steps to enhance cooperation, particularly in the transportation and economic sectors. The expansion of educational and cultural exchange programs was also considered. Both sides agreed to continue bilateral relations at the level of strategic partnership and to implement projects that will contribute to regional stability. The meeting was considered as an important step in further strengthening the friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries.
