Kyrgyzstan and the OPEC Fund have agreed to develop a roadmap for the implementation of joint projects.
This was reported on Monday by Trend with reference to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Sanzhar Bolotov and Vice President of the OPEC Fund Shaimaa Al-Sheibi within the framework of the 9th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Austrian Commission on Bilateral Economic Relations in Vienna.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister presented information on the current economic situation in Kyrgyzstan, highlighting the ongoing reforms aimed at creating a favourable business environment and attracting foreign investment.
Special attention was paid to key strategic projects, such as the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1 and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, which are of great importance for the development of the country’s infrastructure.
