Kyrgyzstan and Hungary signed a declaration on expanded strategic partnership

A joint declaration on expanded strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary has been signed.

This was reported on Tuesday by Trend with reference to the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

The signing took place following the talks between Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

The following documents were also signed:

– Programme of Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Hungary for 2025 – 2027;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary on cooperation within the STIPENDIUM HUNGARICUM programme for 2025-2027.

It should be noted that the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban is on an official visit to Kyrgyzstan. On 6 November, he will take part in the 11th summit of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) in Bishkek.
