Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier discussed opportunities for expanding Kyrgyz-German cooperation in Berlin.
This was reported by Trend on Tuesday, citing the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan. Zhaparov met with Steinmeier as part of his official visit to Germany.
During the tete-a-tete meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
They also discussed topical issues of the global international agenda and measures to ensure regional security.
The heads of state noted mutual readiness to further develop and strengthen Kyrgyz-German relations both in bilateral and multilateral formats. It should be noted that Zhaparov arrived on 25 November on an official visit to Germany, and before that he paid an official visit to Austria.
