Minister of Transport of Kyrgyzstan Erkinbek Syrgabaev took part in a forum on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). The forum was organized to strengthen regional transport links and diversify trade corridors.

The Trans-Caspian Transport Route is considered an important trade route between Asia and Europe. The route offers a logistics network starting from China, through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey to Europe. In his speech at the forum, Minister Syrgabaev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is ready to actively participate in regional transport projects. “The Trans-Caspian route is of strategic importance for our country. This corridor will support economic growth and strengthen cooperation among the countries of the region.” The forum discussed issues such as increasing infrastructure investments along the route, facilitating customs procedures and integrating digital solutions. Participants emphasized the importance of joint efforts to strengthen the role of the Trans-Caspian route in global supply chains.

Due to its geographical location, Kyrgyzstan is considered one of the transport and logistics hubs of Central Asia. The country is also actively participating in projects implemented under China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). “Kyrgyzstan will continue to contribute to regional cooperation and integration processes. The Trans-Caspian route is an important opportunity to strengthen the position of our country in the international trade and transportation network.”
