Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev met with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The two leaders discussed international cooperation, regional security and sustainable development.
During the meeting, steps to strengthen Kyrgyzstan’s cooperation with the UN and find common solutions to global problems were discussed. Minister Kulubayev emphasized that his country will continue to support the UN’s efforts in areas such as peace, human rights and the fight against climate change. For his part, Guterres appreciated Kyrgyzstan’s policies in line with the international community and praised its contribution to stability and development, especially in Central Asia. The two sides agreed to further enhance future dialogue and cooperation.
