Secretary of State of Kyrgyzstan Suyunbek Kasmambetov met with the Special Representative of the Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy. The two sides discussed steps to develop cultural, scientific and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
During the meeting, issues such as strengthening cultural ties between the two countries, implementing joint projects in the field of education and science, and increasing cultural exchange programs among young people were discussed. They also discussed opportunities for cooperation in organizing joint cultural events and preserving historical heritage. Kasmambetov said that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to strengthening its strategic partnership with Russia in all areas, adding that cultural and humanitarian cooperation will make a significant contribution to this process. In turn, Shvydkoy emphasized that the two countries are ready to work for the further development of cultural relations between the two countries. This meeting is important in terms of taking concrete steps to strengthen the cultural and humanitarian dimension of multilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. In the coming period, the two countries aim to further enhance cooperation through joint projects and events.
