President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov arrived in Bahrain on April 21 on an official visit at the invitation of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. According to the Presidential Press Service, Caparov was welcomed at the Bahrain International Airport in Manama by Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and other officials.
Within the framework of the visit, President Caparov is scheduled to hold meetings with the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Speaker of the Consultative Assembly Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and other high-ranking Bahraini officials. During the talks, the development and expansion of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain in various fields will be discussed. The sides are expected to consider ways to strengthen relations in trade, economy, culture, humanitarian aid and other areas of mutual interest. It is also envisaged to sign a number of bilateral agreements between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain covering cooperation in various fields. This is the first official visit of a Kyrgyz president to Bahrain.
