Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Ravshanbek Sabirov met with representatives of the International Labor Organization Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Sergejus Glovackas and Gocha Alexandria.
During the meeting, issues such as improving labor standards, strengthening social protection mechanisms and developing fair employment policies were discussed. ILO officials reiterated their commitment to support Kyrgyzstan’s efforts in these areas. Minister Sabirov emphasized the importance of cooperation with the ILO to bring working conditions in his country in line with international norms. The parties agreed to organize joint projects and training programs in the coming period. They also discussed goals such as protecting the rights of migrant workers and creating more employment opportunities for young people.
