The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Russian Federation and the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce met to develop trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, steps that can be taken to increase bilateral trade volume and implement new investment projects were discussed.
During the meeting, cooperation opportunities were discussed, especially in sectors such as agriculture, energy, transportation and technology. The Kyrgyz Ambassador appreciated Russia’s contribution to the Kyrgyz economy and emphasized the need to further strengthen economic relations between the two countries. The President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce, in turn, noted the importance of Kyrgyzstan’s strategic position in the region and said that they will continue to make efforts to further develop trade ties between the two countries. This meeting is considered as an important step in further deepening economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
