The large Rozhkovskoye gas condensate field has been put into commercial operation in the West Kazakhstan region, reports the government press service.
“The gas condensate field was discovered in 2008 as a result of a wide range of geological exploration work. In the period until 2040, it is planned to produce 14.2 billion cubic meters of raw gas and 7.1 million tons of condensate,” reports the press service of the Prime Minister.
It is expected that the National Fund will be replenished by KZT501 billion and the local budget by KZT110 billion due to its development.
“Rozhkovskoye field will become a source of additional volumes of natural gas. The raw materials extracted from the field will be processed at the facilities of the Zhaikmunai company. The development is carried out in partnership with foreign companies, which has already made it possible to use their experience in the preparation and implementation of the necessary design solutions,” said Alikhan Smailov.
