Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Oljas Bektenov and Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin met in Moscow to discuss bilateral cooperation and joint projects. During the meeting, the development of trade-economic cooperation between the two countries, joint initiatives in the fields of industry, energy, transportation and logistics were discussed. They also discussed integration processes within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Bektenov emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership of Kazakhstan and Russia, noting that economic cooperation is beneficial for both countries. Mishustin, in turn, emphasized the need to increase bilateral trade volume and support investment projects. Cultural and humanitarian cooperation was also discussed during the talks. The two leaders agreed to maintain a closer dialogue in the coming period. This meeting is considered as an important step in strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia.
