The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan met with the aim of developing trade cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, issues such as increasing bilateral trade volume and implementing joint economic projects were discussed.

The two leaders emphasized the facilitation of border trade and streamlining customs procedures. They also discussed opportunities for cooperation in agriculture, energy, transportation and logistics. Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan also aim to take joint steps in regional integration processes. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan noted that trade between the two countries has grown significantly in recent years and emphasized that this momentum should be further increased. The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, in turn, stated that Kazakhstan is an important trade partner in the region and called for deepening economic cooperation. During the meeting, cross-border projects and joint investments between the two countries were also discussed. In particular, modernization of transport corridors and cooperation in the field of energy will make a significant contribution to the economic development of the two countries. As members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are working in close cooperation in economic integration processes. The two countries aim to increase the volume of trade within the union and strengthen regional cooperation.
