Kazakhstan and the UAE discussed prospects for cooperation in the energy sector.
This issue was discussed during the meeting of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with Ambassador of the UAE to Kazakhstan Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Al-Ariki, Trend reports with reference to the Akorda press service,
Tokayev expressed satisfaction with the active participation of a delegation from the United Arab Emirates in the SCO summit in Astana.
As Tokayev noted, Kazakhstan pays special attention to the development of multilateral cooperation with the UAE.
The sides discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level in the trade, economic and investment spheres. It was noted that work should continue within the framework of the Joint Declaration on strategic investment projects between Kazakhstan and the UAE.
The meeting also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, as well as in the field of information technologies and artificial intelligence.
