Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan signed a Treaty on deepening and expanding allied relations

Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have signed an agreement on deepening and expanding alliance relations.

The signing took place after bilateral talks between President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, as well as the sixth session of the Interstate Supreme Council of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, Trend reported on Friday, citing Akorda.

The following agreements were also signed between the two countries:

– Resolution of the sixth meeting of the Interstate Supreme Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic;

– Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments;

– Protocol on amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on checkpoints along the state border dated 25 December 2003;

– Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Agency for the Protection of Personal Data under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic;

– Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic;

– Action Plan (Roadmap) for the development of road border crossing points on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border for 2024-2027.

It should be noted that President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov paid an official visit to Kazakhstan.
