Head of the Cabinet of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Kasymaliev and Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda held a telephone conversation. The two leaders discussed the current state of bilateral relations and opportunities for future cooperation.
During the meeting, they focused on taking steps in line with common interests in areas such as trade, economy, transportation and cross-border cooperation. Efforts to ensure regional stability and security were also discussed. Kasymaliev emphasized the need to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries and implement mutually beneficial projects. Rasulzoda, in turn, noted that Tajikistan attaches great importance to cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and will continue to make efforts to further develop these relations. The two sides agreed to hold face-to-face meetings in the future to further explore opportunities for cooperation.
