Iranian President Pezeshkian: Positive Steps Can Be Taken in Joint Cooperation with Azerbaijan

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian said that positive steps can be taken in the fields of trade, industry and joint cooperation with Azerbaijan. In an interview with Azerbaijan’s state television AzTV, Pezeshkian touched upon the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries, Trend reported. “There are no restrictions in the areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran. These include inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation between universities. We can also cooperate in health care, treatment, supply of medicines and medical equipment. Positive steps can be taken in trade, industry and joint projects,” he said. Pezeshkian also emphasized that the fields of culture, arts and sports can also contribute to cooperation between the two countries.
