During the three-year period of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EAEU in observer status, the volume of mutual trade increased by 60 per cent.
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev made this statement at the jubilee summit of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) in Moscow, Trend reported.
According to Mirziyoyev, this growth is due to an increase in the supply of industrial products.
“At the same time, the share of payments in national currencies is growing. More than a thousand joint ventures and projects have been launched. The volume of freight traffic is growing, the frequency of regular flights has doubled.
Three meetings of the High-Level Working Group were held together with the Eurasian Economic Commission, and the activities of the joint Plan were fully implemented,” he said.
President Mirziyoyev noted that Uzbekistan also participates in sectoral projects and programmes in the areas of digitalisation of trade and cargo transportation, e-commerce and climate agenda.
