The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported that the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) plans to provide Kyrgyzstan with $45 million to lease agricultural and specialised machinery, machinery and equipment for processing enterprises, Trend reports.
According to the information, a meeting of the IDB programme delegation was held with the management of the Ministry and representatives of state banks.
It was noted that the draft application for an investment loan from the IDB in the amount of 45 million US dollars for the lease of agricultural and specialised machinery, machinery and equipment for processing enterprises of Kyrgyzstan was discussed at the meeting. The issues of implementation, timing, main stages of the project, review of previous similar projects, as well as positive and possible negative aspects, results and monitoring of the project were discussed.
Later, the mission representatives met with the management of financial institutions and the banking sector. In the near future, it is planned to familiarise them with the supplier machinery available to agricultural producers.
